Hello crafty friends. I’m praying that you are safe and well, and keeping sane and calm in these crazy days. We’re holed up in Tokyo, but are happy at home, and are getting on with a list of jobs that we’ve been wanting to do for a long time.
I have a pair of cards to share with you today that use two different background colours to give slightly different feels for each of the cards. I can’t decide which one I prefer.

The backgrounds were both blended using the same Japanese wave pattern stencil, one in grey and one in pale pink.

I then chose a cherry blossom to go with the background. The cherry blossom is just finishing here, although unlike other years, we’ve only been able to see the ones that are close to our house.
The cherry blossom stamp set has a range of individual flowers nad small branches and I combined these to make the branch. All the elements are popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment is such a fabulous one for cards to give to friends, and I love to use it. More than ever at the moment I’m trying to send encouraging cards and messages to friends and family.

I hope that these cards have brought a bit of beauty to your day. Until next time, may your thoughts be calm and beautiful.
Blessings,
Donna
Stunning cards Donna 😊 sounds like you are safe and productive at home in these strange times. We are keeping safe and well and busy, I think it’s the only thing to do. I still can’t quite get my head around it but I’m so incredibly grateful to have a home and a garden and hobbies to keep me sane. Stay well and Keep crafting 😍

I agree. It’s good to have things to do. I miss my garden in Australia at the moment, but we’re safe here in Japan, so all is well.
