Paper Pack Cards – No Colouring!

Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another pair of cards to share. One day I’m going to make a whole pile of matching cards, just so I can use the sentence “ I have a pack of cards”

These cards both use the Farm Girl papers from Paper Rose Studios. The paper pack has 24 sheets of Australian A5 paper, and it includes two sheets of cut apart sentiments, and two sheets of floral elements and tags to cut out.

I chose a nice deep green cardstock to highlight the patterned papers. For this first card, I stuck to a narrow colour palette of just green and yellow. i used a mix of glue and Foam tape os that the card would have plenty of dimension. For added decoration, I used the matching colours from the Pastel Confetti Shaker Mix. I love that these mixes are not plastic.

I thought I’d give you a bit of a laugh with my photo of my second card. It wasn’t until I was editing the photo that I realised that a heart had thrown itself face down onto my design cluster. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before that! Of course, I then retook all the photos, but I though I’d throw this one in for fun.

These cards were a lot of fun to make, and much quicker than colouring the images myself, and it’s lovely to have an already coordinated colour palette.

Until next time, stay safe, and look after yourself.

Blessings,

Donna
