Hello, hello! It’s time for me to start thinking about Christmas. This is especially true because I’m on design teams, so some of the designs I make have to run one month ahead so they’re ready for release. But, I know some people who make Christmas cards all year long, so perhaps I’m behind after all!!

These cards use a die called Nesting Bunting die from Paper Rose Studio. I know it says Bunting, and they’re in the package point down, but I think they make perfect Christmas Trees.

And, in honour of how not behind am, there’s a video!

For the first of these cards, I cut one large tree from a Card Front panel, added foam tape behind, then put some paper from the Oh So Sweet Christmas 6×6 paper pack behind this. The sentiment is the Tall Script Merry Christmas die. I cut three of these, and stacked them up with glue, having pounced some Distress Inks in Festive Berries and Candied Apple onto the top layer with Picket Fence Studios Paper Pouncers.

The second card was a little more time consuming. I cut three smaller trees, and added shaker windows behind. I filled these with sequins , and put some more paper from the Oh So Sweet Christmas 6×6 paper pack behind.

The finishing touch for this card was some sequin baubles for the top of each tree. I used Glossy Accents to glue down the sequins, and to add a bubble on top. Once these dried clear, they looked like golden orbs. You can see the whole process in the video. The sentiment for this card comes from the Crisp Christmas sentiments pack.
