Hello crafty friends. Firstly, lets just take a moment to appreciate the magnolia blossoms that are in full bloom at the moment here in southern Australia. They look great and they smell divine too! I thought I’d include them in today’s photos. I have a set of 6 cards today that are all based on a single theme.

There is, of course, a video of the making process. I’m quite pleased with the engineering behind these 3D baubles, so I hope you’ll have a look.

The baubles are made by first cutting them using the Baubles and Bells dies. I then ink blended onto the cut shapes before putting them through my cutting machine again, this time with the Sweet Vines 3D Embossing Folder. I then made them into 6 different cards, ranging from a single bauble and sentiment through to some with inked or textured backgrounds.

Of course, there were plenty of stitched rectangles. I used this Stitched Rectangle dies USA for these cards, as I went with a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch format. I have used a bunch of different sentiment stamps and dies for these cards, and they are all linked below, with USA and Australian links.
