Hello Crafty friends. I have a story of crafty friendship to share with you today. Last week, I went and visited my friend Rachel. And although we’d been friends for a few years now, we’d never met until then. But, from the very start, it was like catching up with a sister! Rachel is an amazing colourist, and she uses coloured pencils with such skill, so I went prepared to ask here lots of questions. She’s so encouraging that by the end of our time together, I had a coloured image, a bunch of new skills, some newfound confidence, and also a real desire to experiment and improve more. To create this card, I stamped the angel from the Little Angels Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto some Kraft cardstock. I chose the angel that was scattering stars, and stamped it towards the top of the card. I coloured the image with pencils, then went back in to add back the eyes and stars that had been partially obscured by the pencil. I also some extra stars sprinkling down the page. 

The sentiment comes from the Pine Boughs Stamp set. I actually stamped this before filling in the stars around it, so that I would know where to draw them.
