Hello crafty friends. Teddy and I have been traveling! I have been visiting family and while my suitcase isn’t as whimsical as Teddy’s, it’s nice to be catching up with people I haven’t seen for a while. Teddy, on the other hand, is just delightful, as is his companion!

For far too long, I would colour images, and then turn my craft space upside down looking for a patterned paper to match, finding that the blue was too green, or the yellow on the paper is too grey, or some such dilemma. Finally, I worked out that if I started with the background paper, then of course I had the pencils or markers to match, or at least, I could make those colours by layering my colours.
So that’s what I did for today’s cards. If you were at Paperific, you may have seen me colouring this card there on the demo table. The adorable image is called Teddy Travels, and I coloured it in Copics at Paperific, and coloured pencil on today’s video. The lovely silver embossed striped paper comes from a 12×12 paper pack called Maya’s Garden.

Below you can find another version of the card, with a hat instead of a headband, colouring done in Copic markers this time.

Until next time, have a super day. May your travels take you to wonderful places.
Blessings,
Donna
