Hello crafty friends. I have another set of cards for you today, once again slightly delayed because I’ve only now had the time and brain space to edit the video footage. Uni marks are starting to trickle in over the holiday period, and I’m very pleased to report that I’m definitely going to pass everything! Phew!
Anyway, on to the cards! I chose a stencil to make these four cards called Floral Borders, which has strips of designs on it, rather than one overall design, and I set out to make four different cards that make the most of the design features and that all had different techniques and shapes. You can see the video of the making process below.
Although I chose a soft colour palette for these cards, I think they’d all be really fun using bright electro-pop type colours, or a rainbow of colours. What would you choose, I wonder?
In many cases, I used simple ink blending, but on this card below, I added gold gel pen for some extra definition and shine.
As always, my love of stitched rectangles came to the fore. I fell in love with them when I first discovered card making, and the love affair continues to this day.
