Hello crafty friends. Every now and then I see something crafty that I just need to get straight away. It doesn’t happen very often, actually. Usually I’m quite self controlled about my purchases. But when I saw these Pastel Wax Seals, I fell in love and ordered them 10 minutes later.

These Pastel Wax Seals are actually made with card, embossed to give that shine, but as you can see from the photo below, they really do look 3D. I’ve made four different cards, combining the seals with florals, cotton, and an embossing folder for each card. You can see the details in the video below.

The 3D embossing folders I used are all fairly new to me, and I’m sure you’ve noticed that they’ve appeared in all my cards lately! I’ve used Simple Dots for the card above, Ben’s Plaid for the card below, and Tufted Elegance for the card at the bottom of this post.

I also really enjoyed playing around with floral elements with the Wax Seals. I used both the Lavender and Roses Die cuts in Rose Gold for the card above, and also the adorable Little Foliage dies for the card below. As I mentioned in the video, it always surprises me how much effort it takes to make cotton look effortless!

Although I chose mostly peachy tones for my cards today, the Wax Seals come in a range of pastel tones, as shown by the card below. This card also shows that a simple card can be very effective.
