Hello crafty friends.

My apologies if you have seen this post before. I just found it in drafts, and I have no idea how it got there. I have been trying to work out a way to publish it without notifying you all in case you’ve already been notified 4 months ago, but I can’t find it. The news below is now old. I have indeed survived second semester, and transcreation was as interesting as I thought it would be. If you’ve seen this, just ignore me! Otherwise, read on!

I’m typing this early in the morning on my first day back at uni for second semester. (first semester didn’t kill me after all, despite its best efforts!) This week I’m starting to learn about transcreation, which looks fun – a combination of translation and creativity which I think I’ll enjoy. (She says from the safe place of not having any results yet)

Anyway, enough of life, here are the cards.

The main purpose in making these cards was to try Copic colouring onto the diets that I used. They come from Paper Rose and they are on a glossy cardstock, with foiling. The answer is yes, you can, but I learnt a few things along the way, that you can see in the video below.

Each of the cards has a different background, and I’m really loving the combination of 3D embossing folders and Shimmer Cardstock at the moment. They play very nicely together.
