Hello crafty friends. I have a set of three cards to share with you today – stretching an Easter collection to suit other occasions. I love celebrating Easter, but I don’t send Easter cards, so this is the perfect solution for me.

The range I have used today is called Easter Memories from Paper Rose Studio. I have used the Easter Memories Basics papers, rather than the main Easter Memories range, as this had more plain papers that I could use as backgrounds. The Embossed diecuts have many beautiful pastel images of butterflies, birds, eggs (some easter eggs, some just plain eggs, as in the card below). I’ve scattered some extra bits around my photos so you can see a bigger range. Each of the cards uses basic dies to cut the elements, such as the circles in the card below.

I chose to layer up some basic images onto backgrounds that I cut using Stitched rectangle dies. This big rabbit is covering half of the flower diecut, which was a sad thing to do, but I didn’t want too much busyness on the card. Can you spot the wool under the bunny? I’m knitting a jumper for my husband (just the front to go) and this is the wool I’m using!!! Card supplies can come from anywhere! The sentiments for the cards come from two sets – Rainbow Poppies Sentiments, which has great pinks, and cool colours, and Bright Days Ahead Sentiments, which have a great range of warmer tone Sentiments.

For this third card, I used the Leafy Garden 3D Embossing Folder to create a textured background, and my absolute favourite patterned paper from the pack, a warm wood paper, before layering three different images in and around the border line for a flow diagonally down the card.
