Not-so-wedding cards

Hello crafty friends. I know I often say that the cards I share are easy to make, but these ones really are the easiest of all! This set of four cards uses wedding papers called Wedding Joy, and completely transforms them into encouragement cards with a whole lot of colour.

I’ve also made one of the shortest videos ever. The only reason it even made it to 3:43 is that I left the photos in until the end of Darcy’s beautiful jazz waltz. That’s how easy they are!

The papers I used come from a Paper Rose set called Wedding Joy. This comes in silver, gold and rose gold. I used the gold for today’s cards, and inkblended over the papers using dye inks. I wiped each panel down once I was done blending, then added some sentiments. That’s it! But I love the combination of the gold and the vibrant colours in the background.

The sentiments are a mix of die cut sentiments – You Make me Smile, and Sending Love and Hugs, along with the new Gold and Silver Sentiments that have just been released at paper Rose Studio for the smaller sentiments

Do you have a favourite? I like the two on the left of each of the photos, but I’m a sucker for blues and greens. Also, can you see the shadow of my arms holding the camera on the card on the right above? There was only one angle to get the beautiful gold in the shot, and that angle included arm shadow.
