Hello crafty friends. I have a card to share with you today that is part of challenge, as I prepare to move countries(again!) and am definitely pondering on the topic of friendship. This card has all my favourite things – inkblending, flowers, and clean bright colours, and it will be perfect to give to a friend.

The card is made with the Wild Columbine layering stencil set. After inkblending over the four layers of stencil, I added a mask to the image, and masked off the edges of the panel before inkblending some more! There is a stamp that stamps the outline for the stamps too, but I left it off this time, when I saw how much I liked it without. I you want to see the set with the outlines, there is another post here (with a video) that you can see.

The sentiment comes from the Everyday Sentiment strips from Hero Arts, and with all the silver paint spatter I used, I decided to go with a black sentiment. So, would you like to join me? The next Hero Arts Challenge has only just started, and it’s as easy as pie. “Create a card for a friend.” Head over to the Hero Arts website for more details, and click on the ‘Blog’ tab to join the monthly challenge. There’s a $50 Gift voucher to be won!

I hope you’re having a super day, and that you’ve had a chance to get crafty! Here’s one last picture of the card.

Until next time, stay safe, and stay crafty!
Blessings
Donna

I’ve tried to link to companies in different countries, so you can save on postage costs. Thank you so much for your support.
