I have friends that are like flowers. One of those friends just received one of these sunflower cards , because I thought it was perfect for her – she has such a sunny personality. Today’s set has three cards that use a whole lot of inky fun goodness, and one card which uses the shortcut of pre-printed patterned paper. Let’s have a look at them.

By the time you are getting this in your inbox, I’ll be living in Tokyo. I have a video to share too, shot and edited before we made the move to Japan. (I’m actually typing this just before we leave, just so that I can focus on finding an apartment and starting my job when we get over there.)

The hero of these cards is the Paper Rose Sunflower Border die. I cut it in a range of coloured card stocks, and stamped some thank you messages along the bottom strip, which the die leaves, using the new Thank you stamp from Paper Rose.

The backgrounds were made using Copic reinkers on Yupo Paper which has a plasticky surface that is perfect for the inks to spread and play with each oher. There are inks that are also perfect for this job, but I have the reinkers, so that’s what I generally use. But, if getting inky is not your cup of tea, there are a bunch of papers that do the job for you, and I’ve listed a few in the video and in the supply list below.
