Hello crafty friends.
We’re sitting at home in the outskirts of Tokyo, waiting for a typhoon to hit land. We believe it will pass well to the west of us, but we’re in the ‘be alert’ zone, so we’ve brought things inside just in case. I’m a secret lover of big weather events, so I’m secretly hoping we get a good soaking. (Update: some rain but no wind, but we had an earthquake overnight, so I guess I got my big event!)
In crafty news, I’m up on the Pink and Main blog today sharing how I made this card using a couple of stamp sets from their newest release, so I thought I’d share it with you here too. I used two stamp sets, Succulents, and Toucan Do It to make this card, as well as the matching dies for the leaves.
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and coloured them with Copic markers before cutting them out with the dies. The sentiment is repeat stamped using Altenew Emerald, Volcano Lake and Mountain Mist inks, as well as Simon Says Stamp High Dive ink, because apparently my Lagoon Ink has gone on an extended holiday somewhere.
Finally, because every card needs them, stitched rectangles! I must use stitched rectangle dies on over half my cards. I never get sick of them!

Until next time, may your weather be exciting, but not too exciting!
Blessings,
