Hello crafty friends. I have a set of cards today the all use the same stamp, and the same colour palette.

All three cards use the Beautiful Mandala stamp from Paper Rose Studio for the images and sentiments.

For this first card, I have stamped part of the image onto vellum and heat embossed it in white. I cut the strip so that the design was symmetrical on the strip and then layered the vellum over a strip of paper that I had ink blended in a range of pink and fuchsia inks, with the darkest colours near the centre of the design.
I paired this with the sentiment from the same stamp set. Do what you love!

This next card has the whole image embossed in gold as well as the sentiment. I used the same inks to blend colours from the centre out, so although this cardstock is pink, there is still variation across the panel.

Finally, I broke out the post I it tape to mask sections for some ink blending on this last card. I used a range of pinks for a subtle shift every 45 degrees. I lined the tape up with the outside point and centre circle to get even sections. The sentiment is heat set in gold so that it stands out.
I hope you have enjoyed these cards. This is a stamp set that makes wonderful encouragement and kindness cards for friends. If you’re interested in seeing more of my cards, you can see plenty of them here.
Until next time, be your own kind of beautiful.
Blessings,
