Hi crafty friends. As you may know from my recent post, I’m doing Kathy Racoosin’s 30 day colouring challenge, and looking over my time cardmaking and those who have encouraged or inspired me.

For day 2 of the challenge, I have a card inspired by Kristina Werner. Kristina is the other half of Online Card Classes, which is what got me started in with cardmaking. There are so many things to love about Kristina and her teaching style. One of the things that I love is that she makes a lot of cards that need really minimal supplies. Kristina’s explanations are clear, and she is a very talented cardmaker and stamp designer.

Kristina has inspired me in so many ways that it was difficult to decide what to make for my card. Should I do no line watercolouring of a cute critter? Colour a Gorjuss Girl stamp? Decorate an envelope? Do some lettering with a watercolour background perhaps?
In the end, Kristina’s Oxide Combos won out. I loved this series, and it opened my eyes to both different colour combinations, and experimenting on my own. I couldn’t resist doing some blending on a matching envelope too. If I’d been braver, I’d have lettered the envelope too, but I’m still working on that!

I hope you are enjoying this series and this card too.
Until next time,
Blessings
