Hello sweet friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a one layer card to share with you today. This stamp set from Pink and Main, called Gnome Matter What has my heart, and I’m so keen to get my Copics out and colour the bigger images, which will fill even slimline cards (It is a 6 x 8″set) .
But for today, I’ve chose this adorable little girl, and my coloured pencils.

I stamped her onto Neenah Kraft card using Versafine Onyx black ink. I tried to find information on the internet about what inks worked best with coloured pencils, but the information was tricky to find. This one worked out really well thought, so I thought I’d pass on the information here.

The pencils I used were Polychromos, and I used many light layers to build up the colour. The sentiment comes from the same Gnome stamp set and it’s the perfect length to sit underneath the image and ground it.

So, there are no bells and whistles today, just an adorable image presented simply. You’re going to be seeing a lot of this stamp set from me, as I love the style of drawing and the lovely soft sweetness that all the characters have.

Until next time, may your days be sweet, like this card.
Blessings,
