Case me a Christmas Card with Michelle

Hello crafty friends. Don’t tell anyone I’m not studying at the moment, but I just had to take a break for Michelle! She’s worth it! Michelle Lupton has been doing this fun Christmas card challenge for several years now, and I’ve been lucky enough to participate three times.

It’s called Case me a Christmas card, and here’s my card!

l used the card below from Michelle as my inspiration. I loved the colour palette and those background stripes, so I cased those and added a fabulous Christmas tree from Hero arts, reversing the colours a little so that the baubles were green, and the tree was golden. If you’re new to the series or to the concept, CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything, and that’s why we’re using each other’s cards as a starting point.

Why not head over to Michelle’s blog and see which card of mine she CASED, and all of her lovely challenge cards. I’ve been enjoying the series immensely. She’s one clever cookie!

That’s all for now. I’ll be back soon, as I only have 10 days of full on study to go (for this year, anyway) Have a super day.

Blessings,

Donna

  1. Love this!! I’ve used that kind of background on a few cards, now! That tree stamp was a perfect choice, as the blended rectangles show through the tree nicely! Thanks so much for being my guest 😊

  2. What a wonderful way to use the inspiration from Michelle. Your reversed colours look great and very striking.

I think that is does a studying brain good to have a break and do something that we enjoy. Hope that your studies are going well.
