Hello crafty friends. And hello to all my non-crafty friends and family that just come because they love me! (I’m looking at you, Dad!) I’ve got a set of cards today and an invitation to join in a challenge for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher.

The challenge theme that these cards were made for is “ Afternoon in the Park”, so I chose flower and leaves background stamps. I have one last video before I move to Japan to share with you, so I hope you enjoy this one. It’s very short.
The stamps are both red rubber background stamps, so I stamped upside-down (the video makes this clearer) and then pencil-coloured the individual elements with a three step process. – white/light highlight towards the centre, darkest shade around the outside, then the mid-tone pencil over the whole image.

I also coloured one image on white paper with copics to see how it would look. I loved both looks.

Once I cut the panels down to card-size, I had some strips left over, which I also turned into cards. The sentiments are all from the Let’s Celebrate stamp set.

Join the challenge on the @heroarts blog for your chance to win.

Until next time, may you enjoy Saturdays in the park!
Blessings,
Donna
