Hello crafty friends. I’m so happy that you’ve joined me today. I’m starting to see the signs of spring here in Japan, which is making me so happy. Without a car, the winter mornings are bitter! I have a card to share today that has both spring flowers and winter wool in it!

This stamp is called Wooly Special Friend and it’s from Paper Rose Studio. I stamped it in grey, instead of my usual black to give a slightly softer look. I coloured the image in Copics, and then cut it out with the matching die. There is a little Wink of Stella on the buttons for some shine.

The background is a piece of watercolour paper with a light wash of pale green. The texture of the paper caught the paint unevenly to give the variation in colour.
Finally, I stamped and cut the sentiment, cutting fishtails on each end with my scissors. I chose quite a small font, as I didn’t want to cover too much of the image!

I really enjoyed colouring this image. I’d love to make a set of these cards in a range of colours. I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at it and are inspired to get colouring!
Until next time, may you know how amazing you are.
Blessings
