Hello crafty friends. I have a card today that probably best sums up where I’d like to be right at the moment. Somewhere peaceful, and with the sand between my toes.

I’ve made this card by masking off the horizon a piece of Neenah Solar White card, and blending below, and then above that line with Butternut, Worn Lipstick, Lavender Fields and Dusk inks. I used this fun Ergonomic Blending tool to do the blending. I blended more heavily on the left die of the card, where the palm tree would go. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and cut the panel just smaller than an A2 card with this Rectangle Die. I then drew on some stars with white gel pen.

The images come from two different stamp sets – Beach Unicorn and Fintastic, both from Pink and Main. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo black ink, which is Copic friendly and coloured them with my Copics.

Lastly, I stuck the tree and shells to the card, using a mix of glue and foam tape, and placed the whole panel onto a teal blue card.

I may not get to the beach for another year or so, but I can dream, right???
