Hello crafty friends. Thank you for choosing to spend a few minutes with me today. I have a card today that is so ‘me’. I love to colour flowers, and I love the softness of watercolour, so this card is perfect for me.

The feature image is from Paper Rose studio and it is called Modern Poppies. It’s the perfect size to use for cards, as it takes most of the card, but leaves room for the sentiment, which in this case comes from the same stamp set.

I stamped the image in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. I the used three colors of Altenew watercolour brush markers to colour the image – Moss, Rubellite and Ruby Red.

I fussy cut around the image and popped it up with foam tape. The background panel was cut using a Stitched rectangle die, also from Paper Rose.
If you’d like to see the cardmaking process, I have a video for you below. I’m getting more relaxed with making videos, and I love the freedom that I have to give more information, without it becoming a wordy blog post.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a super day, preferably with flowers in it!
Until next time, stay safe,
Blessings,
Donna
