Hello friends!

One last card for Australia! Today I have a duo of mushroom cards to share with you. I’m typing this as we prepare to leave for Japan. All the crafting supplies are in my suitcase, ready for boarding!

Paper Rose Studio has recently put out a series of three mushroom houses and I’ve used two of them here today. I’ve stamped both houses In Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured them with my Copic markers. I cut one out with a thin white border, and the other right on the lines, adding an edge with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker to hide some of the white card core. This first card has a background made with Paper Rose’s 3D Balloon Embossing Folder.

The second card uses patterned paper to complete the scene. I chose a tree scene from the Winter Backgrounds papers as my background, and coloured the mushroom house to match in with this scene. The sentiments for both cards are from the All Occasions Sentiment Strips which have every sentiment you can think of! I ran some sentiments through my laminating machine with some gold foil to get the gold on these.
