Hello friends. It’s Donna here, settled into Western Australia for a couple of weeks. It’s winter here in Australia, but here in Perth, it’s not that cold at all. Perfect for today’s sunny cards! ( I may even be sporting a pink nose after an afternoon walk today!)

Today’s cards use the new Stay Cool Stamp set, and the matching Stay Cool Stencil, both from Pink and Main. I stamped the image first on one sheet of card, then carefully lined up the stencil to ink blend the different parts of the image. The lines of the image are thick enough that the stencil sits easily inside them so it’s easy to line up and stay inside the lines. I’ve made a video of the process if you’d like to see how these two products work together, and how I made the second card without the lines.

Once I’d ink blended some colour over the stencil and the card with the image, I slid another card into the same space using a tape hinge. I then blended onto this card as well, trusting that the images would line up without the lines. I had a pretty good idea of how the second panel was lining up, because the stencil is quite transparent. The exact inks that I used are listed in the supplies list below, but any colours would be fine. The sentiments come from a stamp set called Aloha flowers, and were stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. Don’t you love this font?

I cut both panels using a Stitched Rectangle die 2, and layered them up with some coloured cardstock. The final touch was a couple of Enamel Dots from a set called Ahoy.
