Hello crafty friends! I’m currently sitting at the base of My Fuji where we’ve had a wonderful time away, although the mountain, which filled the whole view yesterday has disappeared behind a series of squalls at the moment. I’ve taken some photos and popped them into the YouTube video!

Today’s cards feature the My Monthly Hero May kit, which I was lucky enough to be able to have a play with this month. The theme is big celebrations and there are so many versatile birthday sentiments and dies.

I made a video of the process, and I’ve included just a couple of Mt Fuji photos at the end of the it too.

One of the heroes of the kit is the enormous present die set, which makes the present you see below. I love the attention to detail; there’s even a die for the ‘string’ for the gift tags.

I made my own rainbow paper and cut both the sentiment and the candles from the corresponding stripes of the rainbow for this car below.

Finally I have a fun little tag made from an upside down balloon die. I was hoping to tie it around the neck of the sparkling wine bottle for the photo, but by the time the glue had dried, the bottle was empty!!
