Hello crafty friends! I’m back to my first love today. Colouring flowers – pink flowers to be exact!
These Magnolias are not a new stamp, but they are such a favourite of mine that they made the cut of stamps to bring to Japan with me last year, along with the matching dies, which I also used.

I masked off a central rectangle in each of the card fronts, and ink blended in a cool pink. I then stamped the magnolias in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured them with my Copic markers. I chose warm pale pinks and a little yellow for this.

Finally, I added sentiments from two of the newer Paper Rose Studio sentiment sets – ‘wishing and sending’ and ‘stacked sentiments 2’ to all the cards. The final card has just one variation. After I had inkblended, I ran the card panel through my die cutting machine with the Floral Garden 3D embossing folder.

I hope you have enjoyed this set of peaceful pink cards! I’m back to work tomorrow, so I’m full of ideas and enthusiasm for my teaching, (and hoping the students will be smaller and better behaved than those that appear in my dreams! -Experience tells me that they always are!!)
Until next time, may your days be filled with love and laughter.
Blessings,
Donna
